Stop hiding
your art.
There's a monster that lives in shame and the fear of being seen. Once you name it, it gets smaller.

Meet the Pot Dweller.
Free guide, instant download.
No spam. Just one beautifully strange field guide for your soft, creative self.
You want to share your work.
Something makes you pull back.
"Maybe this is too personal."
"I am not enough. I don't deserve attention."
"What if they judge the wrong part of me?"
That's not weakness. That's the Pot Dweller. A pattern your nervous system built to keep you safe, now quietly keeping your art locked inside.
A field guide,
not a lecture.
Short, illustrated, and built for artists who are tired of explaining their block.
- Where the Pot Dweller comes from and why your nervous system built it
- The whispers it uses and what they're actually protecting
- A somatic tool to separate your work from your identity in real time
- A poetic exercise to begin uncorking the pattern
- A micro-tool for when you feel yourself shrinking mid-creation
A personal note
Why I built this and what it has to do with my own creative journey.

Hi, I'm Cuau
Filmmaker and founder of the Poetic Toolbox. After years of creative paralysis I made my first short film and realized the blocks weren't about discipline. They were monsters with names. I've been drawing them ever since, running workshops in Berlin and Japan, and interviewing artists about what actually gets in the way of making real work.
